What is a Photobooth?

You may have read about them in magazines and newspapers or seen them on TV and thought what is this photo booth craze all about! Well in our case it's a modern day digital version of those passport photobooths you may have found at train stations and Woolies, but instead of taking ID photos it's a party service that creates a lasting memory from your Event. All you have to do is grab some people, step behind the curtain, push a button (you get a choice of colour or B&W) and let the fun commence. A series of four photos is taken with a visible countdown between each one and then once they have been taken the four photos are combined to make one print that is automatically printed and ready for collection on the outside of the booth within seconds.

We offer proper photobooths for hire (allbeit not a tradional type solid booth), rather than the so called photo booths that are simply a mobile photo studio with a guy with a pointing a camera at you trying to get you to pose. Our booths are quite big (because size does matter sometimes), we have designed them to fit 4-5 with ease or 10+ with a squeeze. Our booths are fully portable so we can go where someothers can't — be it upstairs or in a marquee — plus our booths are wheelchair friendly too! Also unlike some other booths ours have all the equipment housed within the booth so no printers on tables for us!

The best thing about having a photobooth as supposed to a mobile studio "photobooth" is that once your guests are in the booth with curtain closed they can't help but let their hair down and have some fun! In return you get some great shots of your guests that you wouldn't normally get.
